Greetings, SNC Alumni!
Some of you may know me from my time as the Chief Financial Officer at Sierra Nevada College. My family and I left three years ago to live in Chicago. When Bob Maxson decided to retire, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to explore the presidency, and even more so upon my appointment. My family and I accepted with an enthusiastic yes.
We have a profound love for SNC, its students, faculty, staff and the Tahoe region. We know and embrace the vision that Ben and Margaret Solomon have had for the college since its earliest beginnings. The college is now poised to be nationally recognized for providing the highest quality education for its students. We are dedicated to furthering the growth of the college, and honoring you as past students and, hopefully, current collaborators.
During my presidency, I will dedicate my purpose to completing the construction of the master plan for the campus, enriching the college’s contributions to the community, growing enrollment, expanding campus-based activities, and providing an ever greater student experience both in and out of the classroom.Please come and visit Lake Tahoe and this beautiful campus whenever you can. We would love to give you a tour of the campus and share all the exciting things that are on the SNC horizon. I think you will be very proud of how far your alma mater has come.
